Uganda

We're off to Africa! To help orphans and the really poor. Here are some Uganda facts:
- It's in Africa!
- It has the youngest population in the world, over half the population are under 15 years old - that's around the same age as me.
- Lots of people die of AIDS & other sicknesses.
- Quite a few speak English, and the other main languages are Lugandan and Swahili. I've been learning Ludandan with a computer program - some of the pronounciation is a bit like Maori.

We need to raise over $3500 each. My family is over halfway now. We’ve been fundraising hardout to get there!

We had a giant book sale where we raised $2900 towards our trip! We're trying to organise another one at the moment.

We've had a garage sale & a movie night too, as well as selling stuff on TradeMe. It all adds up!
